Chinese Artist 澄澈 / Wayne Wen Prepares New Original Music
The Boston-based singer-songwriter and producer develops a personal sound shaped by Chinese-language storytelling, R&B, alternative pop, and jazz harmony.
Boston, MA — [Release Date] — Chinese singer-songwriter, producer, and arranger 澄澈, also known as Wayne Wen, is preparing to release a new original song developed during his time at Berklee College of Music.
The upcoming release reflects Wayne’s interest in pairing Chinese-language lyrics with a contemporary musical palette. Drawing from R&B, alternative, indie, and modern pop, the song also carries the influence of his background in classical piano, vocal performance, and jazz harmony.
Wayne approaches each project from both a performer’s and producer’s perspective. He develops songs through lyric writing, melody, harmonic structure, arrangement, vocal recording, and production, aiming to preserve the emotional center of the original idea throughout the process.

Wayne Wen is a Chinese singer-songwriter, producer, and arranger based in Boston, Massachusetts. He studies Professional Music at Berklee College of Music and is currently developing an independent artist project centered on original Chinese-language music.
